The web pages are written to the latest W3C standards (see below) and we have endeavoured not to use any features that are not available in all the current browsers. So effectively we are using a subset of the full features of HTML and CSS. This includes the use of colours that are 'safe' on all browsers on all platforms.

The web site is tested with the following browsers:

• Internet Explorer Version 7.0 (or later)
• Firefox (Mozilla) Version 3.2 (or later)
• Opera Version 9.0 (or later)
• Safari Version 4.0 (or later)

If you are using an earlier version of these browsers you can download a free upgrade from their respective sites.

We have tried to create a web site that works on all recent browsers and on all platforms.

This site has been developed using Joomla! and XHTML 1.1 and validates in accordance with the W3.org validation service.

We have used cascading style sheets to create the page layouts and visual effects. Tables are used only where necessary.

The website administration was taken over from the previous "owner" in December 2005 by Alan Woodward.
