Linton Festival Photo Competition

Many thanks to everyone who submitted images for the 2007 photo competition. Altogether approximately 3500+ photographs were entered and the overall standard was incredibly high. We particularly admired the industry of one particular contributor who submitted 1000+ images in the 3 categories!

We did not realise what an incredibly difficult task this would be, but eventually Ray, Lyn, Jackie & Martin came to an agreement for each category, but only by creating joint winners in the ‘expression’ category. Sorry to all those that missed out, there were many worthy contenders for each category, but there is always 2008!

Anyway, our congratulations go to Terry Darrington for his shot of Dr Teeth on the Sunday (Actions), Chris Thomas for an incredibly smug looking Paul Jones (Expressions), Ian Godsave (Young Fan) and Tony Winfield (Funkdory) were the joint winners in the Atmosphere category.
